Hello, new here and have an Ameiva question.

Well here's a little update. Im pretty sure the ameiva is ok with me being in her enclosure now. Think my "work" with her is done. Only going in her enclosure when i absolutely have to.

Hello, new here and have an Ameiva question.

Yeah she's a spoiled ameiva for sure. Or atleast I think it's a she. Previous owner said it was full grown, and by the look of the Jowels.. They aren't being enough to be male?

Hello, new here and have an Ameiva question.

So I've been working on trust with the ameiva. Not for handling, but so she doesn't freak out when I need to go into the enclosure for some reason. Today's progress made a big step, we moved from tong feeding(I don't tong feed all the time, just occasionally), to hand feeding.

Hello, new here and have an Ameiva question.

They are a display animal. I would not suggest handling. That is why i made a display enclosure for mine.

Thank you Very much. I have a custom enclosure built for her(i think?), 4x3x2, Ive added pictures to the gallery, I am in canada, So roaches are an issue for me. She also seems to prefer meal worms, but i could like to find something a little more substantial then those. Any Suggestions?

Hello, new here and have an Ameiva question.

I have recently Recieved an amevia from someone local to me, who was looking to rehome. They were informed it was a "blue Ameiva". I cannot find any info on blue ameivas, so I was wondering if someone here could help me to identify which species of ameiva this is. Thank you in advance. Edit...
