What better way to wrap up a week like this than to head over to check out the Kalamazoo Reptile & Exotic Animal Expo? The show is this Saturday, November 17, from 10am to 3pm at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center (2900 Lake St, Kalamazoo, MI 49048). Tables are filling up quickly. We will have our regular vendors, including a couple who didn’t make it last month, and we will have a few new faces this month as well. The animals you will see will include several morphs of ball pythons, reticulated pythons, milksnakes, tortoises, gargoyle geckos, crested geckos, bearded dragons, chameleons, frogs, and much more! We will also have some birds, hedgehogs, and sugar gliders if you prefer your friends to be feathered or furry. We will have a selection of caging and supplies, including heaters, lights, substrate, and live plants. For those of you who have hungry pets (who doesn’t?), you can pick up your Repashy crested gecko diet at the show. We will have a full selection of live and frozen feeder mice as well as a full line of feeder worms. Linda’s Gone Buggie will also be featuring Top Hat crickets this month! These crickets are raised right here in Kalamazoo County and then driven directly from the farm to the show without spending lots of time in shipping. This is a great opportunity to support a local business and get a quality product!

As always, this is a great opportunity to check out some amazing animals and talk with others who share your passion for animals. We will have Freddie the alligator, Harry the tortoise, and Annabelle the albino Burmese python there to say hello, and you may even get to catch a glimpse of a couple new reticulated pythons that have recently been added to our collection! Be sure to stop by and say hi. If you have any questions, feel free to check out our website at www.KalamazooReptileShow.com or send us an email and we’ll respond as soon as possible.

I have not been to the Grand Rapids show since the new owner took over, but the Kalamazoo show is more than twice the size of the room that they meet in. We average 40-50 tables of vendors each month, and we have a great variety at the show. Give it a try, and if you're not happy, find me at the show, mention this post, and I'll take care of you!
