New red tegu owner

I got a red tegu saturday at a reptile expo that was two hours away so she had a little drive home. She is a hatchling. when I brought her home she ate a grape and some egg that I hand feed her but now she wont eat unless i put it in her tank which i assumed was normal since she doesnt know me yet but she has only ate once since than (frozen thawed pinkie) and she will not come out of her hide that is under her basking lamp. So I am wondering if thats normal since shes just getting use to it here and could the fact it is winter be affecting her? If so what would you recommend I do.

Easy. Leave her alone. Takes about a week for a tegu to get used to the new home. They hide. Also, winter's approaching and they will and should slow down for some time. Provide consistant conditions.
