Barn Owl?

By far my favorite bird is a Barn Owl, and I did my research and found out they actually can make good pets.
Anyone ever had one or known anyone who has one?

Dont you have to have permits of some kind to own birds of prey?

Yes you do...you have to have a falconry license to own them. And finding barns that are imprinted is hard as they are very difficult to fly

Must have been Britain that you don't need a Falconry license, oh well. Someday I'll get a falconry license

I actually looked into getting a falconry license a while back. Its alot harder than i thought it would be and ALOT of work. If someday you do go through with it good luck! It would be very cool..i just dont have the dedication..

what did you have to do? did you need to go to a special college?
